GENERAL INFORMATION

  • First Round | Week commencing Monday 7th October
  • Last Round | Week commencing Monday 2nd December
  • Season length | 9 Weeks
  • This registration covers the Mixed Seniors, Mixed Juniors & Families categories ONLY. Registrations for Over 60 Men (Monday nights) and Ladies Masters (Tuesday nights) are managed separately
  • Registrations close Friday 27th September
  • Registration DOES NOT guarantee you a place. While every effort will be made to fit as many teams in as possible, priority will be given to existing members of Whitford Hockey Club.
  • If you register as an individual every effort will be made to place you with other individuals or with an existing team within your chosen category.
  • Day, times and possibly field sizes stated below are estimated only and are subject to the final number of registrations*
  • Note that individuals can only register a single team or up to 5 individuals on this page...due to a limitation with the system :-(   Email Paul if you would like to register more than one team.  

 

OPEN MIXED SENIORS

Recommended for Adults and Year 9/10 Juniors (and older)
Format Half Field 7-a-side
Day* Wednesdays & Fridays
Time* 1 Hour Games (2 X 25 minute halves). Games played between 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Cost per Team $585/Season. Payment for the full season must be made at the Canteen by Friday 18th October.
Special Notes
  • Team and Individual registrations accepted
  • Teams will be asked to grade their team A, B or C but this could be changed by the organisers if this is not deemed appropriate. Fixtures will favor games within own grade i.e. A grade teams may play the occasional game against a B grade team and likewise a B grade team may play the occasional game against a C grade team however A grade teams will not face C grade teams.
  • All teams will be expected to provide an umpire outside of their time playing slot. Umpires will be paid $20/game which can be collected at the canteen on the night. Teams are NOT expected to pay the umpires directly as this is covered by the registration fee.

 

 

OPEN MIXED JUNIORS

Recommended for This will be broken into two categories (A) Years 7 to 10 and (B) years 4 to 7 largely based on experience/capability. No adults allowed. It is strongly recommended that J11/12 players should be playing Mixed Seniors.
Format Half Field 7-a-side
Day* Thursdays
Time* 1 Hour Games (2 X 25 minute halves). Games played between 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Cost per Team $585/Season. Payment for the full season must be made at the Canteen by Friday 18th October.
Special Notes
  • Team and Individual registrations accepted. Teams must be prepared to accept some new players to allow new registrations to join
  • All teams will be expected to provide an umpire outside of their time playing slot. Umpires will be paid $20/game which can be collected at the canteen on the night. Teams are NOT expected to pay the umpires directly as this is covered by the registration fee.

 

FAMILIES

Recommended for Primary school aged children & their parents
Format* Half or Third Field 7-a-side
Day* Fridays
Time* 1 Hour Games (2 X 25 minute halves). Games played between 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Cost per Team $585/Season. Payment for the full season must be made at the Canteen by Friday 18th October.
Special Notes
  • Team and Individual registrations accepted. Teams must be prepared to accept some new players to allow new registrations to join
  • Up to 3 adults allowed on the field at any one time
  • Umpires will be provided
  • IMPORTANT: Any adults found playing or behaving aggressively WILL be asked to leave the field and may be permanently barred from the competition. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated.
